Engine Cowlings
Need for cost saving solutions
Ranking among the world's technology leaders
Lufthansa Technik AG’s Airframe Related Components
division ranks among the world’s technology leaders when it
comes to the repair and overhaul of Boeing and Airbus inlet, fan and
core cowls, including acoustic panels.
Moisture penetration, ramp rash incidents and other types of
mechanical impact cost airline operators billions of dollars each
year.
In-house repair developments
Expensive bonded and composite nacelle components are often
unnecessarily scrapped because OEM’s do not offer repairs,
and to make matters worse, new parts may not even be available within
an acceptable time frame.
We first addressed this problem decades ago, and over the years we have
developed and refined repair techniques that save operators up to 70
percent of the cost of OEM components and guarantee better than new
quality at the same time.
All work done out by specialists with the
expertise that comes with decades of hands-on experience plus
operational feedback from one of the world’s premiere
carriers. In addition, our dedicated facilities and OEM compliant
equipment make us unique in our industry. And, of course, our 120
million Euro inventory of Airframe Related Components means
you can
always count on us for spares support and loan/exchange service.
