New mutual beneficial partnership
As the first customer of Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen-Shenzhen Airlines has signed the Total Component Support TCS® on 26th Nov. 2007.
After 2 years negotiation, Shenzhen Airlines decided to choose Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen as a TCS® exclusive provider for their A320 fleet, which includes 13 aircrafts at the moment and will extended up to 70 aircrafts with in the next 10 years.
The contract will cover about 500 items and the duration is 10 years. It's the largest pooling contract in Great China Region ever since, with gross revenue of over 145 million US-Dollars.
During the negotiation, Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen has already started serving Shenzhen Airlines for its advanced component pooling service. Gradually, Shenzhen Airlines was convinced by the service quality and reasonable price.
Lufthansa Technik's continuing success in the Asian market is attributable not only to the quality and close partnerships but also to its local representation. One of the most significant and popular products in this"T product family" is the Total Component Support-TCS®.

About Shenzhen Airlines:
The airline was established in Oct. 1992.
In 2004 it founded, with German partners Lufthansa Cargo (share holding 25%) and DEG (share holding 24%), the international cargo airline Jade Cargo International which started operations in Sept. 2005. Shenzhen Airlines owns a 51% stake in the cargo airline.
In Nov. 2005, Shenzhen Airlines completed the alteration of stock equities and became the biggest private controlled airlines in China.
